Kind Way Founders
The People Behind the Mission
Kind Way was born from lived experience—a shared recognition that the most tender passages of life deserve more than clinical response. Meet the founders who are answering that call.
Nanci Denmark
Co-Founder & Wisdom Weaver
My name is Ms. Nanci Denmark. I gratefully walk this path as a healer, guide, mystic, and co-founder of Kind Way. For more than twenty-five years, I served as an acute care nurse, tending to people in their most vulnerable moments. Those years taught and shaped me—allowing me to hone my craft of service and healing in ways only lived experience can.
When the pandemic arrived, it cracked something open in me. A greater sense of empathy emerged, revealing a deeper calling and clarity guiding me toward a more aligned purpose. As I shifted my awareness, I embraced the catalyst that followed—expanding into a deeply centered, holistic approach to care. I reimagined both my personal and professional life. I nurtured the skill of presence. Through being intentionally present with myself and others, everything started to change. The energy of loving kindness seemed to flow through me with ease. I began to feel more connected and in harmony with life.
My transformation to this new way of being started revealing the cracks in the healthcare system. I knew I needed to do more to help in a deeper way. Thus, I expanded my knowledge and approach to healing—learning modalities both conventional and metaphysical. Obtaining certificates in Gerontology, Oncology, End of Life Care and Coaching, Crystal, Sound, and Energy Healing. I was honored to become an Ordained Minister of The Universal Life Church, enabling me to hold ceremonies for all, no matter their spiritual or religious beliefs.
At the heart of all I do is the knowing that we are all deeply interconnected. Every person’s journey ripples out to touch the whole. I feel called to do my part to elevate the consciousness of the planet, one compassionate interaction at a time. I believe that when we bring good energy, presence, and loving kindness into each moment, we help others experience both their best lives and their best deaths. Whether it is through celebration or sadness, I am here to hold the space for all. Through this intention, Conscious Care was created and Kind Way was born.
Outside of my work, I treasure my family, friends, and life at home. I am blessed with a Grandmother who always taught me to stay curious and meet life’s challenges with persistence and joy, and amazing parents who have always loved and encouraged me to be myself. I have been happily married for twenty years to my husband, Colin—an extraordinary human who brings so much into my life. Together, we share a home filled with love, laughter, and the gentle chaos of our beloved dogs and cats. I recharge and find balance through music, dancing, and being in nature. Long philosophical talks around the fire ignite my soul’s continual search for knowledge and expansion.
It is my deepest honor to walk beside, teach, and lead others as they navigate transitions, transformation, and the mystery of what lies beyond.
With much Gratitude,
Your Wisdom Weaver—Namaste, Nanci

For most of my career, I worked across industries focused on leadership, technology, product development, operations, and coaching people through growth and change. I’ve led teams, built companies, solved complex problems, and spent years helping people navigate challenges both personal and professional.
But over time, I realized the work that mattered most to me was much more human.
In 2019, I joined a men’s team that changed my life. Through that experience, I began to understand the power of vulnerability, presence, and authentic connection. It taught me that people don’t heal through advice alone. They heal when they feel truly seen, heard, and safe.
That realization deeply changed the relationship I had with my father.
We did not always have the closest relationship, and for many years there was distance between us. But as I began doing deeper work on myself, I stopped waiting for the relationship to change on its own and took ownership of the connection I wanted to create. Slowly, through honesty, openness, and compassion, we became closer than I ever thought possible.
When my father passed away, it impacted me profoundly.
At the same time, I felt immense gratitude that we had found each other before the end. Many people never get that opportunity. That experience became one of the deepest inspirations behind Kind Way.
Kind Way was created from the belief that care is about far more than tasks or appointments. It’s about presence. Trust. Emotional safety. Human connection. Whether someone is navigating aging, illness, loneliness, transition, or simply needing companionship and support, they deserve to feel cared for in a deeply human way.
Everything I’ve learned throughout my life—from leadership and coaching to communication, systems thinking, and emotional growth—now comes together in service of that mission.
My hope is that Kind Way helps people and families feel less alone, more supported, and more connected to each other while there is still time.
With Presence and Gratitude,
—Alex
